Assembly Instructions

First, remove the 7 screws circled above.

Remove the 2 screws above and below the steering wheel shaft circled above.

Remove the 4 screws behind the wheel circled above.

Remove the 3 screws behind the plastic cover you just loosened.

The top can now be removed. It is only held in the place by these clips pictured above at the front. You can lift from the back. It may be tight when removing for the first time.

The steering wheel plugs in to the connector shown above.

Unplug the connector and remove any zip ties holding the cable in place. You can then pull the steering wheel off the front. The connector will need to be turned 90 degrees from the orientation it is plugged in to fit up the hole where the coiled cable sits.

You should now have the original steering wheel removed, and be ready for the installation of my parts.

First, place the plastic cover shown above over the shaft.

Next, take the wiring loom and slide the black connector up from the base out of the top of the shaft.

Plug in the white connector into the base, this connector only goes in one way.

First, slide the adapter onto the shaft of the wheel base, matching the holes in the top and bottom of the adapter to the holes in the top and bottom of the shaft.

Take the spacer and circuit board. The button in the spacer is meant for the PlayStation button if it was to be used on a console. The PlayStation button is mapped to the third set of connectors down from the top on the right hand side. Make sure the board is oriented as shown above. This is a good time to connect any other buttons you may want.

The diagram above shows where all buttons are mapped.

Plug the black connector in with the exposed parts of the terminals showing upwards.

Take the nuts and included bolts and attach your wheel. The nuts do not hold themselves in place so you will have to hold them from behind while you put the bolts in. Take care when pushing bolts through as wires on the inside may fall over the bolt holes.
At this point you can complete the reassembly of the wheel doing the opposite of what you did to disassemble it.
